Lego Party
Having a birthday party is never without its unique challenges. Fortunately, some challenges are easily overcome. Like the challenge of actually GETTING to the party. A little more, and the driveway was clear enough for us to escape.

We thought we’d try something different this year; Clyde had a lego party. The kids made little lego racing cars, and then raced them down a ramp. Mom had to devise a little gadget so that no-one could push their car down the ramp the hardest for an unfair advantage.

Since this party was for Clyde’s birthday, only boys were invited this year. After the elimination rounds, who had built the fastest car?
Clyde?
Clyde’s friends?
Check out the victor’s victory dance!

Yep, that’s Bonnie. Who was only along for the trip because we promised her she could use the money that was burning a hole in her purse to buy something. A good day for her – a victory at the races, and a new set of pink and purple lego.
After the races, we went to the ice cream shop for some birthday sundaes. We had a great time! We did feel badly for the poor guy who had obviously come for a quiet lunch by himself …

It’s not hard to guess what he’s thinking, is it? He stuck it out, though. Happy Birthday, Clyde!
Here he is, just hours after his birth.
About 5 months. Teething??
